Life at ViaSun

Our Story

From working on roadway projects with his father to working as a field laborer throughout his 20s, CEO and Founder Rolando Perez used his hard-earned experience and unique insights into the local construction industry to establish ViaSun Corporation in 2011. Inspired by his original mission of creating compounding success for his growing family, Rolando founded ViaSun as a distinctly people-focused organization that serves as a path to a brighter future for employees and clients alike. Starting out with a few trucks and a small team driven to deliver outstanding service and high-quality work, ViaSun grew into a $50M+ organization owned by 130 employee-owners in just 12 years. The ViaSun Team achieved this exponential success by through a proven process that unifies project teams while enabling them to deliver excellent solutions: Partner. Plan. Deliver. Succeed.

2011

ViaSun was founded, marking the beginning of our journey in the asphalt, civil, and pavement preservation services industry.

2019

ViaSun's In-House Quality Control Lab is formed. This highlighted our dedication to delivering top quality services and reliability by offering on-site testing and mix design services.

2016

ViaSun shifted its operations to Superior Ave while simultaneously constructing an in-house fleet services building, leading to enhanced operational efficiency.

2019

ViaSun became an employee-owned ESOP company where our focus has always been and will continue to be the thing we value most – our
